What is the Ocean Pines Season Kickoff & Expo?
A four-hour festival created to showcase all that Ocean Pines has to offer, whether you choose to live, work or play in our vibrant coastal community.
When and where is the event taking place?
Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 11 am to 3 pm at the Veterans Memorial Park, located between the South Gate Pond and Racetrack Road.Â
Why was this event created?
The summer recreation season will be in full swing by mid-May, and the event gives residents and visitors a chance to sign up for 2025 memberships for the pools, racquet sports, golf club, Beach Club and other amenities the community offers. Staff and volunteers from all the amenities will be on hand to answer questions and help you sign up.
Ocean Pines has MANY wonderful clubs, organizations and businesses, and hundreds of new residents move in each year. During the pandemic, many new or long-time residents missed the chance to explore all these wonderful offerings. The Ocean Pines Season Kickoff is a great way for everyone to reconnect with neighbors, friends, and all Ocean Pines has to offer.
Is the event free?
YES! Local vendors and food trucks will be on hand selling a variety of food and beverages, and some businesses will be selling items at their tables. But admission to the event and all the activities onsite are free to all.
I hear some great items are being raffled off. How do I enter the drawings for these items?
Visit any amenity information table or the Info@OceanPines.org booth and fill out an entry form. There's no charge or obligation to enter, and you could win one of several gift baskets filled with gift certificates and other items generously donated by community businesses.
Can my business, club or organization get a table at the event? What does it cost?
Yes! Tables for community clubs and organizations are free if you bring your own table or booth, or just $20 if a table is provided for you. Business display spaces start at $75 if you bring your own table or booth, $100 if a table if provided, and $110 for a table with electric hook-up. Email OPSeasonKickoff@gmail.com for more info!
